Of course Yhwach could do that…
And I thought it was over, how wrong I was. Yhwach’s “Elite Force” is far from defeated it seems, all thanks to Yhwach reviving them. None of the Sternritter in the Elite Force impressed me, so seeing them get up to receive another beating isn’t all that exciting, although I wonder now with Yhwach reviving them if they are stronger and/or unable to die =/. It is going to be interesting to see how explains exactly what happened and whether Yhwach can continue reviving his “Elite Force” when they are down.
It was sad seeing some of the other Sternritter sacrificed in order for Yhwach to revive his “Elite Force” as I was looking forward to some of the battles that had begun – Renji’s battle in particular. I also wonder if Yhwach is only able to revive his “Elite Force” by using the other Sternritter as sacrifices. If so, than that is just sad, most of the other Sternritter were much more promising as antagonist than Gerard and Lille – poor Bazz-B.
One good thing that can come from this revival is seeing the Zero Division unleash more and/or have Ichigo, Sado, Inoue, Yoruichi and Ganju join in the battle. Hopefully that is the case as Sado, Inoue, Yoruichi and Ganju definitely need some opponents to highlight the advances they made since their last battle. There is also Ginjou and Co. to deal with, so it will be interesting to see how Kubo-sensei incorporates the Fullbring into this arc.
Pernida does interest me the most, mainly because she is hidden so much (assuming Pernida is female) and there must be some intriguing reason as to why Kubo-sensei has made so much effort to make her so enigmatic. Plus her compulsory power does seem quite dangerous.
Giselle is just crazy, I almost feel sorry for Bambietta that even after her death, she has to be treated in such a pitiful way. Such a shame that after her exciting battle with Sajin, she has to be abused by Giselle. Anyway, Giselle’s disturbing fetish with corpses aside, Liltotto really did consume Pepe, I wonder if this means she became stronger =/.
I wonder what the “N” stands for =/
So we finally get the name of the Sternritter with glasses – Robert Accutrone, Sternritter “N”. What a shame that after wondering for so long what his name and letter was, he ended up being killed off pages after his introduction. Guess Kubo-sensei couldn’t think of a way to include him into the final battles of the arc and instead opted to highlight Yhwach’s terrifying character with Accutrone’s “sacrifice”. Looks like Bazz-B and NaNaNa are also caught in the light pillars Yhwach sent down, so if things continue as they did with Accutrone, those two will also be killed off. I wonder if four sacrifices were needed in order to revive the four members of Yhwach’s “Elite Force” =/.
The climatic battle between Ichigo and Yhwach should be exciting, I really am looking forward to seeing how Ichigo intends to combat Yhwach and defeat him. Looking forward to the next chapter.
