The longer Queen feels the need to prove himself a superior scientist over Judge through his battle against Sanji, the more inferior he appears. I honestly did not think there could be a character more insecure than Caesar but here we are. Queen has constantly gone out of his way to prove just how lesser he is to the peers he worked alongside in the past. Queen has been consumed by his own anxiety that the science he now pursues is but a shadow of someone else. Sanji will reign victorious and as Queen lies their in defeat, he will realise just how inferior his science is to Judge’s.

All wars are won on information. And going forward as the focus turns to the Straw Hat Pirates being involved in more wars, the need for information becomes more crucial and necessary. Luffy may be the protagonist of the series but there is a limit to how far luck can carry a main character. Gol D Roger lost to a lack of information. Oden lost to a lack of information. Rocks lost to a lack of information. Big Mom lost to a lack of information. The Underworld Broker Joker aka Doflamingo lost to a lack of information. The Straw Hat Pirates lost to a lack of information in the past. Kaido will lose to a lack of information. Even the Lunarians and Ancient Kingdom likely lost to a lack of information.

One Piece Chapter 1033 – Zoro VS King: Shimotsuki

Even beyond his limits Zoro is still challenging the boundaries of what lies even further. His sight is set on an end far outside his current position. King is without question the stronger fighter in the battle at present but there is an inherit capacity within Zoro to get stronger within moments of strife. The wall that lies ahead of Zoro is one he knows he needs to overcome lest he fails to fulfill the promise he made to Luffy, to Mihawk and to Kuina. With his resolve now tempered, there is only one last thing he can do. And that is to go all out. Unleash and leave nothing in reserve.

One Piece Chapter 1032 – Zoro VS King: Flame

Limits are a concept Zoro has always pushed from his childhood when he desired to wield as many swords as possible, to humbling his pride when requesting Mihawk, the wall representing the obstacle he needs to overcome, to mentor him in the way of the sword all so he could eventually defeat Mihawk. To his current state of already being exhausted from fighting Big Mom and Kaido but having his body boosted from Mink medicine. The path Zoro is on has always been one directing him beyond his limits. In this moment the wall in front of him is King and the secrets behind his origins. In order for Zoro to devise a counter to King, he requires the power of knowledge.

With World Government’s move to claim Wano in the case of Kaido’s defeat, they have revealed their fear for the nation that has remained independent for the past 800+ years. The World Government have sensed an opportunity and wish to exploit it. With that said, how do they seek entry into Wano Kuni? Do the ships intend to enter from the front – Mogura Port – where defense is thinned or from the back?

[Analysis] One Piece – Onigashima: Straw Hat Pirates VS Beast Pirates

The underlying theme behind the deconstruction of the Beast Pirates is the realignment of their forces allegiance. What initially began as a group of fighters that constituted two pirate crews, a few Samurai, a ninja and the Mink turned into hundreds than an army of thousands before the raid on Onigashima. Such a theme carried forward through the story of Onigashima with it still continuing. The disparity in numbers between the two forces continues to close with the Samurai Rebellion on the path to growing larger than the Beast Pirates force. It has been set-up to happen. And it will happen. The whole Onigashima story has been building up toward Luffy taking Yamato away from Kaido.

[Theory] One Piece – King And Rocks

With the revelation of the Lunarian people and their ability to burst into flames, the Rocks Pirates Jolly Roger has me wondering, was Xebec D. Rocks a member of the Lunarian race? Or did he take an interest in them? The Jolly Roger representing the Rocks Pirates (and Rocks in particular) is that of a red skull that appears to be flaming. Why such imagery? With the knowledge of the Lunarian people and what they could do, that imagery can be interpreted in a curious context, one that see Rocks connected to the Lunarian people. Is this why Rocks was so interested in the secrets of the world and becoming King of it? Because he felt the status his people once held was robbed from them?

[Theory] One Piece – Yamato’s Saviors

Yamato in his past when chained by Kaido and locked up in the Sacred cave to starve was saved by three Samurai who referred to themselves by no name but upon closer inspection, it appears they may have been prominent figures in Wano Kuni. Kaido’s comment about them being powerful swordsman and his intent to recruit them indicates the status of those Samurai. At the time of Kaido’s attack on Wano Kuni, all the Daimyo of the regions were defeated and stripped of their power. Oden and his Samurai challenged the Beast Pirates but ultimately lost to Orochi’s schemes. Sukiyuki disappeared while Orochi was present in the Flower Capital and was presumably killed. Yasuie received a message from Oden and chose to protect the Kozuki family. After losing his position as Daimyo, Yasuie then chose to remain among the people to help them through the darkness engulfing Wano. As for the rest of the Daimyo, which total three, they all challenged Kaido and lost. What happened to those three Daimyo after they lost to Kaido? Answering that question establishes the possibility of who Yamato’s saviors really were.

One Piece Chapter 1024 – Yamato VS Kaido: Spirit Of A Samurai

The fight rages. A father advances. A son weights through the multitude of emotions swelling up inside them. Illuminated by the light of a full moon, the two reflect back on their relations and expose their intentions through the actions they express. The future they each seek, conflicts. And present at such a convergence, they clash. As Yamato comes to terms with their father’s rejection of their dreams, he recalls memories of his past where he met people who not only believed in him but accepted him and his dreams. Yamato wants to be a Samurai and inspired was he by the legendary warriors that gave their lives for the future. Alongside Oden were the unnamed Samurai that saved Yamato. And on him, those Samurai placed their hope to carry their wills into the future where Wano Kuni could be saved. The burden Yamato chose to carry was not only his own desires but that of the nameless Samurai and Kozuki Oden. They believed in him and he has chosen to believe in himself too. The spirit of the Samurai burns radiantly within the resolve of Yamato.

One Piece Chapter 1023 – Passion. Will. Heart. Conviction.

That chapter. My goodness that chapter. What an unbelievably incredibly electrifying read. I loved it. My body was not ready for how amped up it would now be. Ahhh, how glorious. The threads of the journey unfolding throughout the manga have now found themselves converging at a point tying together a new thread on which the path forward has been constructed. The satisfying nature of payoff is a magical experience in how something so consuming and defined can yet surprise the avenues of the mind when the moment is presented in the manner as it was in this chapter. Certain elements were expected but the way they aligned and cascaded alongside each other, such a feeling evoked is indescribable.
