Overcoming despair and realising what to live for

I thought that it was incredibly weird for Deliora to visit the grave of someone during his introduction, I ended up rationalising that as Silver having control over his body at that time, but the actuality of circumstances has revealed that Deliora was never revived and the control Silver had over his body was never relinquished. Was Tartarus fooled as well believing that Deliora was resurrected or did Mard Geer find some way to force Silver and his Devil Slaying abilities to work for his cause? Whatever the case I am incredibly interested to see the reason Silver has for deceiving his son and forcing Gray to realise just how much he doesn’t want to throw his life away.

Even with Gray surpassing his own limits, all his efforts in trying to stop Deliora and end the nightmare from the past from recurring has had no effect. With Deliora mastering the art of Devil Slaying, he has attained the ability to nullify any ice attack Gray can throw at him and now with Deliora so close to getting his revenge, what can Gray do to turn the situation around?

This weeks Fairy Tail special chapter was also great, especially with the focus on Juvia. Even though Juvia’s obsession with Gray does border excessive, it is incredibly cute how taken she is with him. Even with the sad past she has had and the bad things she has done in the past, she is trying her best to change and Gray does serve as an inspiration point for Juvia to center her love and focus around. Along with helping Fairy Tail, the guild which took her in, she wants to continuously impress and be noticed by Gray, who after saving her, she has become infatuated with. This chapter did manage to push their relationship forward in an amusing and moving way.
