Edens Zero Chapter 198 – Sister VS Clown: Abyss

Edens Zero Chapter 198 - Sister returns to destroy Clown

A fight of sensation. A show of horror. An event without mercy. A result in domination. Clown sought to drown out Sister Ivry within the anguish of his nightmare but little did he know that the waves of exaltation cascading onto the shores of his psyche embodied an ocean too overwhelming for his hollow desires of torment to deprave. This was a game with one victor and it wasn’t the player who cast the nightmare that pretended to defile. Domination resided within the exponent of punishment. The embodiment of which reflected Sister. She unleashed her reckoning and embraced her role as avatar of subversion and agent of the abyss. Retribution against the Nightmare transpired through mental submission and with it the defeat of Clown followed.

Edens Zero Chapter 196 – Sister VS Clown: Runtime Error

Edens Zero Chapter 196 - Sister caught off guard by Clown's attack

Clown poses a curious query toward Sister in regards to the essence of life for machines and what constitutes the state of death to them. Expecting no adequate reply, Clown derives his own answer and provides an equally thought-provoking response. When he mentions the outcome of being unable to execute further lines of command, within what context is he referring. Clown is right within the context of isolation (human) where code cannot go further once the execution has stopped but once that state of mind is applied to the realm of reality, the answer becomes a bit more inquisitive. Yes, code cannot run once the execution has stopped but that doesn’t mean the program itself is void. In such circumstances, debugging and rerunning the code are engaged. Unlike a physical body which define humans, androids are more than just their shell, they are a system and intangible code which can be debugged, quarantined and updated.

Edens Zero Chapter 195 – Hermit VS Killer: TrapScript

Edens Zero Chapter 195 - Hermit takes on Killer

As is with code, when you know the issue you are dealing with, one can construct within the functionality of its operations, an encapsulating narrative to account for those variables otherwise confusion and the timely task of debugging become the process overwhelming the task. Expanding that logic into the context of Hermit battling Killer, the ambiguity represented in Killer’s programing came to embody a value outside the scope of the Edens Zero’s usual processing. If not for the data derived from Weisz’s efforts, the modus operandi Killer pursued would not have been identified by Hermit to factor into the functionality of her counterattack.

Edens Zero Chapter 194 – Hermit VS Killer: Overdrive

Edens Zero Chapter 194 - Hermit activates her Overdrive

Hermit’s measured reaction to Killer’s unhinged madness was intensely phenomenal. While Killer manically boast over accessing Overdrive, Hermit is just there observing his ignorance before unleashing her own ascension into Overdrive. The climatic reveal with Hermit looking down on Killer in her empowered form before responding to Killer’s silenced state with “so was I” was exceptionally glorious. I love it. What a badass, Hermit. Her Overdrive form looks incredible. That almost smug expression (in the best kind of ways) on Hermit’s face while awakening her Overdrive and staring at Killer told everyone enough to know how she triumphed over Killer in that pre-psychological battle taking place. Killer getting a taste of his own taunts was surprisingly satisfying.

Whenever they acquired pieces of information that led them to Ziggy, he was always one step ahead and one moment later. Without a proper information network, all the Edens Zero had been doing is filtering information that had already expired in terms of encountering Ziggy. Facing such a barrier, their encounter with Connor could be a blessing or a seed planted by Ziggy to blossom into the ruin that may end up engulfing them.

Edens Zero Chapter 127 – Weisz VS Müller

Edens Zero chapter 127 - Weisz continues to attack Muller

Madness is but a word ill-equipped to define the depths of horror represented by Müller. A mind so nescient in its state, the recognition of the universe has become warped to the point of twisting the characterisation of its actions into an apparition of righteousness. Human the scientist may be but devoid of a “heart” he is. With the assistance of his allies, Weisz extends himself passed his limits in order to cleanse this stain of unconscionability that deems himself integral to the progress of humanity from the association of science.
