Even though Shunsui basically educated Lille on the functionality of his zanpakutou, I don’t really mind. The situation and Shunsui’s zanpakutou warranted Lille needing to know the “rules of the game” in order for Shunsui’s zanpakutou to fully function. And keeping Lille in the dark about the abilities of his zanpakutou wouldn’t have helped as Lille had expressly mentioned that the Sternritter had done comprehensive research on the Shinigami’s zanpakutou’s and their abilities shown throughout the battles they have had so far (information gathered from the Spirit King’s palace?). With both parties restricted by the “rules”, the victor will be decided on how one plays the specific game.

Shunsui is finally getting an opportunity to show off his zanpakutou this arc and most likely will end up having to rely on his Bankai to defeat Lille Barro thanks to whatever power-up Yhwach bestowed upon them by sacrificing his less capable members. Whatever Shunsui’s Bankai is, it is going to be terrifyingly exciting to find out.

I find it ridiculously hilarious how the Sternritter, who are made up of Quincy, are talking about balance so boldly and poetically. If they forgot, aren’t they themselves the representatives of imbalancing that balance they talk about so resourcefully? They raided Hueco Mundo and slaughtered who knows how many Hollow to cause an imbalance between worlds which in turn effectively threatened to leave reality in a state of collapse and instability. Hearing Haschwalth prattle on about the scale of balance and equating fortune with misfortune just made my eyes roll so incredibly hard.

That was unexpected, the Quincy were able to overlap their world with Soul Society so suddenly? I guess now we know why the Quincy had to first visit Hueco Mundo before coming to Soul Society, they needed to create the imbalance between worlds to create an opening for their dimension to overlap with Soul Society. But still to overlap two worlds to such an extent…the balance between worlds sure has become dangerously distorted, what happens if all existence ends because of this, did Yhwach think about the potential consequences before messing with the universes? Anyway nine days, according to him, the sealed King of Quincy will conquer the world in nine days…I wonder if JuhabachYhwach is a prophet?
