He won. Luffy won. He challenged the world’s strongest creature and together with the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai alliance, the forces of Kaido were defeated. The twenty year long night that began when Oden died has finally been illuminated by the glimmer of hope awaiting in the future. Momonosuke in turn has also saved the Samurai and arrived in the Flower Capital with the Akazaya Samurai (those that can stand) and Hiyori to declare an end to the night and usher in a new dawn for the people of Wano Kuni. [Theory] One Piece – Yamato’s Saviors

One Piece chapter 1024 - Yamato is saved by the three Samurai

Yamato in his past when chained by Kaido and locked up in the Sacred cave to starve was saved by three Samurai who referred to themselves by no name but upon closer inspection, it appears they may have been prominent figures in Wano Kuni. Kaido’s comment about them being powerful swordsman and his intent to recruit them indicates the status of those Samurai. At the time of Kaido’s attack on Wano Kuni, all the Daimyo of the regions were defeated and stripped of their power. Oden and his Samurai challenged the Beast Pirates but ultimately lost to Orochi’s schemes. Sukiyuki disappeared while Orochi was present in the Flower Capital and was presumably killed. Yasuie received a message from Oden and chose to protect the Kozuki family. After losing his position as Daimyo, Yasuie then chose to remain among the people to help them through the darkness engulfing Wano. As for the rest of the Daimyo, which total three, they all challenged Kaido and lost. What happened to those three Daimyo after they lost to Kaido? Answering that question establishes the possibility of who Yamato’s saviors really were.

One_Piece_v96_ch971_p008-009-edit2

In face of the inevitable end, the choice one has is whether they go out with a whimper or a bang and in the case of the Legendary Samurai, Kozuki Oden, the end was met with a blaze so radiant that the flames of his spirit burned within those witness to his end memories of a moment unforgettable. His actions, that were performed for the people of Wano Kuni, had their image perverted by narrations of malice through the schemes and hatred of Orochi Kurozumi. One Piece Chapter 915 – Assault On Bakura Town

One Piece chapter 915 - Kiku

That was actually pretty badass – I understand Luffy’s excitement

Why is it when power-hungry people take over something, it becomes rotten? Are they so afraid to be reminded of how sinister they are, they remove from their proximity anyone or anything with the ability to reflect truth back on them? Bakura has become a town void of heart. Fear and desire run the town and those unable to serve a purpose are discarded being labeled a lesser existence compared to those residing within the town. Those in charge abuse their power and pervert the soul of Wano Kuni into an image stained in their ignorance and temporal assertions.

One Piece Chapter 657 – The Normality Of Strange

One Piece Chapter 657 - Punk Hazard climate

Across the burning blaze is a freezing wind, the state of Punk Hazard revealed

Well now, so the Island is split into one side being insanely hot and the other side being bone-chillingly cold, how interesting. I can’t help but think Akainu vs Aokiji, but is this really the Island they fought on? The incident Smoker mentions took place four years ago and the battle between Akainu and Aokiji was two year ago…it could just be the incident spoken about is totally unrelated to the extreme climate of Punk Hazard and due to the Island being closed off and ruled off-limits by the Marines and World Government, Akainu and Aokiji decided to battle there.
