Edens Zero Chapter 204 – The Story of [Ziggy]: Void

I was absolutely wrong in my assessment of Ziggy and future <spoiler> in relation to the story and I don’t mind in the slightest because this has to be one of most affecting reveals I have experienced in Edens Zero. Everything from Ziggy’s inception, to the growing void in his heart, to the mission he was assigned with, to the Edens Zero’s origins. It all makes sense now. Why Ziggy began as such a character and why through the course of the expanding narrative, the shift occurred and entrenched Ziggy within the path he now finds himself on. It wasn’t nonsensical or illogical but a tragedy sourced from consequences of what came before.

Edens Zero Chapter 192 – Weisz VS Killer: Love And Trauma

The pain of losing a loved one is an incomparable experience forever etched in the minds and hearts of those left in the wake of the tragedy. For those that remain, the life characterised by the people lost suddenly exist as an unfamiliar frame within which echoes of grief reside. Grief in the form of numbness that embodies the void left when those cherished within your life are gone. With time, the setting of your heart readjusts as you come to accept the pain and embrace the desire to move forward into a world where your loved one whom has passed no more exist.

Such is the case with Weisz, who had his mother stolen from him by the inhuman schemes of Drakken. He accepted the death of his mother and came to acknowledge the grief overwhelming his heart when faced with the man who killed her. But now, within the Subdimension Program Killer has entrapped him within, he finds out that his mother may not have died. The world within his heart that had readjusted to move forward within a reality that didn’t have his mother now tears itself open to reveal the scenery that existed when his mother was a part of his world. Love and the trauma associated with it resurface instantaneously.

Edens Zero Chapter 134 – The Chaos Within The Aoi Cosmos

As the inevitable clash between the players relevant to the arising conflict edges ever closer, the unfortunate reality of innocence getting caught between the fighting manifests. The chaos on Foresta wrapped every single inhabitant in its agony and now as a response to Ziggy’s move, Shura has spread disinformation about the threat the robots pose and declared them a danger to the humans living within the Aoi Cosmos that needs to be removed. In an attempt to rally support behind his madness, Shura has constructed a deceptive narrative in which those humans seeking freedom and survival have no choice but to cast their support behind him. And in a hollow attempt to substantiate his claims, he arbitrarily judged innocent androids as rebels and had them killed. With the chaos from Foresta expanding, the whole of the Aoi Cosmos looks set to be consumed by such a darkness.

Edens Zero Chapter 132 – Ether Training

The path to Mother is one filled with danger, obstacles, time, unknowns and powerful foes. In order for the Edens Zero crew to stand a chance against any impediments obstructing them through their journey, power and the wisdom to use it are necessary. By nature of casting themselves into the cosmos, the crew will inevitable be caught up in events dyed in chaos. And in order to navigate through such conflict, they will have to battle numerous existences – human, alien and robot alike. The training performed now is integral to their growth and survival as adventurers. Training that will help identify their abilities and put them past their limits.

In the end, it doesn’t seem fair, does it? Irene, who loved so much and gave so much for humanity, found herself continually mocked by the hands of fate. Irene didn’t get the chance to get to know Erza, to spend quality time together with her and to be a parent to her daughter. Irene was broken by the subjects of her love and cast down into a spiral filled with suffering and anguish eventually being overwhelmed by madness where she found herself driven by the desire to kill her own daughter. Since being imprisoned by her husband, it was moments of suffering followed by moments of suffering. Only at the end did Irene come to reclaim back the humanity slowly being lost within her rage. Still, it would have been inspiring and heart-warming if Irene had gotten the opportunity to be a mother and the chance to share her life with her daughter.

There are certain developments within Fairy Tail that I believe so strongly will happen that I can’t help but theorize about and structure my very perception around. Developments that arrest my thoughts and beckon my heart deeply and intensely. Among them is Irene Belserion being saved from her centuries long suffering and pain. For Irene to get the opportunity to feel human again and to experience what it is like to be a mother. I believe wholeheartedly in this.
