Edens Zero Chapter 146 – Homura And Milani

I had suspected that Milani was more a victim of her surrounding norms than a willful participant who instinctively despised androids but I did not expect that Milani all along cherished androids and only followed Shura out of fear. If Milani has been cornered emotionally and mentally to such an extent, how many other members of the Nero Empire are in a similar situation where even though they know what they are doing is wrong, they can’t help but conform to the status quo lest they risk the wrath and madness of Shura. If the hatred for androids isn’t a universal feeling across the Aoi Cosmos, then defeating Shura and removing Nero’s control over the cosmos can very well help in bringing living beings (mainly humanity) and androids back together. Shura may hate androids but there are those within the Aoi Cosmos that still shed tears for the lives of androids. Will Milani team up with Homura to help stop the All-Link system from activating? And will she also assist in providing information about Ijuna to the Edens team and recovering Witch?

The rejection of others disapproval of your acceptance of androids has always been a reality you had to face. Where you saw life and felt love, others perceived inanimate objects devoid of feeling. It wasn’t until your encounter with Shiki, Rebecca, Happy, Pino and Weisz that the feelings you held were echoed. Now, once again the rejection of androids and their ability to exist consciously has reappeared around you. As is with the rest of the Edens Zero crew, the fight being waged for the lives of androids is something incredibly personal. Edens Zero Chapter 144 – Gravity, Time And Space

Rebecca has used her powers and reversed herself back 90 seconds which means the whole world she now exist in is the past present from her perspective. For those 90 seconds, anything else that happened within the world outside the facility will also have taken place in the world she came from. This could mean the explosion Shiki was caught up in may not have taken place yet in the world Rebecca reverted to. If everything plays out as it had, Shiki will fall prey to the explosion once more. But given the connection Shiki and Rebecca share, could Shiki have once again had his gravity attract memories of the future present into his current self? Could the Shiki in the current world now be partially aware of the self-destruct protocol the robot is about to activate? If so, will Shiki be able to adapt to the situation using the knowledge he now possesses? And what about Shura, as a Gravity Gear user, can he also attract memories of his other selves from different timelines when Rebecca uses her powers?
