One Piece Chapter 1014 – Kaido VS The Rebellion

After dispatching Luffy into the ocean, Kaido turns his eyes to the Samurai and in particular, Momonosuke, the Lord of the rebel forces currently fighting across Onigashima. Kaido intends to shatter the spirits of the rebels with the news of Luffy’s defeat and the annihilation of their lord, Momonosuke. What Kaido fails to grasp is the independence of each Samurai’s belief. They have all reached a point where they will happily give their life to protect and to fight for their lord, nation and people. Fear and desperation have already guided each of them to this point. Adding more terror won’t change the resolution burned into their soul. The Straw Hat Pirates won’t give up and neither will the Samurai. Kin’emon, the representative of the Samurai rebellion now stands against Kaido challenging him head on with the weight of the nation on his shoulder and the presence of his lord behind him. Overpowered by Kaido as he may be, Kin’emon still stands.

One Piece Chapter 1008 – Kanjuro And Orochi’s Return

It has finally been confirmed. Kanjuro and Orochi are still alive. Of course they are. From the moment their were presented as having been killed, it was obvious their deaths were only a misdirect to remove their presence from the focus of the story so that when they do reappear, a dramatic reveal could be possible. Death in One Piece for present time named characters is handled very subjectively. No matter how dead someone may appear in the story when their death scene is initially presented, if there is any ambiguity in their deaths, it is almost certain that they are still alive (looks at Vergo and Monet). The two conditions that are seemingly required before a present time named character can die are moving the plot forward substantially with their deaths and having another character(s) in the story ready to carry on their will. Neither Kanjuro or Orochi had any of that. Their reappearances more than a surprise were an expectant inevitability.

With the revelation taking place in the most recent One Piece chapter (985) that featured the severance of a two and a half decade old partnership, how will the reality of that weight affect the state of mind of the current Shogun of Wano Kuni?

Contrary to how Oda-sensei portrayed the scene, Orochi is not dead. The flow of the Wano Kuni story demands Orochi to be alive. And if we follow all that Oda-sensei has set up, the development now serves as an awakening moment of clarity for Orochi and a catalyst for his ultimate intentions.

One Piece Chapter 976-977 – The Helmsman Of The Straw Hat Pirates

For over a decade many have been waiting for Boss Jinbe to join being teased on several occasions by almost circumstances but finally, it is official! The Straw Hat Pirates have their helmsman and onward to Onigashima Island to take down Kaido and Big Mom. If Oda-sensei has any other plans for introducing any future Straw Hat Pirate members or developing them, this is the moment to do it in with at least one Yonko about to be defeated.

One Piece Chapter 975 – Kin’emon’s Foresight

In order to fool the traitor, Kin’emon had to first fool the allies closest to him

What prudence, what anticipation, what prescience. One Piece Chapter 971-974 – The Heart Of A Samurai

In face of the inevitable end, the choice one has is whether they go out with a whimper or a bang and in the case of the Legendary Samurai, Kozuki Oden, the end was met with a blaze so radiant that the flames of his spirit burned within those witness to his end memories of a moment unforgettable. His actions, that were performed for the people of Wano Kuni, had their image perverted by narrations of malice through the schemes and hatred of Orochi Kurozumi. The will of his spirit didn’t end with his apparent physical death, instead it was carried through space and time in the hearts of many right through to the moment in the current time. The Kozuki will has been inherited and the wishes of Oden has been heard. The time has come for the country of Wano to be liberated from the chains of Orochi and for the Yonko, Kaido, to be defeated.

One Piece Chapter 754 – Zoro VS Pica

Now we know what happens when Zoro unsheathes his swords, things get annihilated. Thanks for coming Pica, but you never stood a chance, best find some place to hide now that you are caught between a rock and a hard place. Man that smile of Zoro’s is so satisfying to see after he unleashes. It is about time he made the Donquixote Pirates aware of how demonic and terrifying he can be. Hopefully Robin and Franky get moments to shine as well this arc.
