Bleach Chapter 611 – The Death Of The Soul King

Finally it is time, the main characters are back in focus!

Well that was interesting, Ichibei gets brought back from the dead by merely having his name spoken and the Soul King, whom should have already been awakened, has seemingly been killed by Yhwach. What a twist to learn that Yhwach is in fact the Soul King’s son, I guess now it makes a bit more sense why Yhwach has such a broken power. Still I wonder why exactly Yhwach was so determined to kill the Soul King, I’m sure he is aware that the worlds will collapse without some consistent force connecting them, unless of course Yhwach has a plan to deal with the imbalance that should be create upon the Soul King’s death.

Bleach Chapter 589 – A Vacation To The Soul King’s Palace

Is there anything Kisuke can’t do? Regardless of what ends up being asked of him, he ends up delivering and even has a good time in the process – the situation he created thanks to taking advantage of Inoue’s feelings for Ichigo, how amusing it was. Great chapter, I was hoping the focus would shift back to Ichigo, Sado, Inoue and Kisuke, and it did, but Kubo-sensei took it even further and had Yoruichi return into the story – yay! I also am liking how great a team Kisuke and Mayuri are making, able to rely on each other to counter whatever the Quincy come up with.

Bleach Chapter 587 – Invasion On Reioukyuu

Yhwach finally makes into Reioukyuu, will he really be able to handle the Soul King?

Looks like Yhwach finally made it to the Soul King’s Palace, I wonder how the Royal Guard/Zero Division will stack up against Sternritter’s best. Seeing that the members of the Royal Guard each specialise in a particular field, it will be interesting to see how Yhwach goes up against such masters. Ichigo on the other hand regresses back into his emotional cesspool of despair, but thanks to Sado, Ichigo is smashed right back into reality and his resolved self. With Kisuke making arrangements for Ichigo and Co. to get into Reioukyuu, it should be exciting to see what Yhwach ends up doing during the time it takes for Ichigo to reach Reioukyuu.

Bleach Chapter 586 – Confrontation

I wonder who the first to fall will be O.o

The Sternritter sure have gotten full of themselves this past arc, although there may have been full of themselves way before that. It is a shame that the majority of them won’t know the terror of Zaraki as they are likely going to be crushed by other Shinigami far less terrifying. Zaraki seriously needs to pick himself up and display to everybody why he is regarded as such a monster when it comes to battle, a monster second to none (except maybe Ichigo). The Shinigami VS Sternritter battle should be interesting, I am curious to see who will come out on top, if any. Uryuu advising Ichigo to leave has me wondering if he has a plan of his own to stop Yhwach =/.

Bleach Chapter 546 – Chilling Intrusion

Talk about invading an enemy world…with another world…

That was unexpected, the Quincy were able to overlap their world with Soul Society so suddenly? I guess now we know why the Quincy had to first visit Hueco Mundo before coming to Soul Society, they needed to create the imbalance between worlds to create an opening for their dimension to overlap with Soul Society. But still to overlap two worlds to such an extent…the balance between worlds sure has become dangerously distorted, what happens if all existence ends because of this, did Yhwach think about the potential consequences before messing with the universes? Anyway nine days, according to him, the sealed King of Quincy will conquer the world in nine days…I wonder if JuhabachYhwach is a prophet?

Bleach Chapter 455 – Lamenting Circumstances

Tsukishima, guess he really was unarmed...

Oh Ichigo, its amusing watching your roller coaster of reactions, from completely terrified to strangely terrifying – he is ready to kill a human!! And unlike in his Shinigami form where he is actually cleansing (aka Bleaching) the soul of Hollow (doesn’t seem like that to me when the Gotei 13 slash away at their enemies with smirks on their faces – so much for liberating the corrupted), here he has a real sword, that really cuts the flesh and bone, that does real damage, and that really does kill. Walking the road of killer requires more thought than what Ichigo is putting in, especially since he is only a teenager (17)!!
