Edens Zero Chapter 203 – Shiki VS Ziggy: Convergence

The revelation within this chapter explains many things but it still leaves me confused in certain regards. The form Ziggy takes and the declaration he states conveys a clear narrative but the pathway toward this moment conflicts against its rationale. The Ziggy we knew was very much themed around a mechanical construct with limitations and operations consistent with that of a machine but given the current reveal, it appears human elements were apparent in the directives of Ziggy at least from the point when evil Ziggy revived after the Drakken Joe incident. The biggest question I have though, is why did “Ziggy” travel back to “that” moment? What was so special about that time? Was it lead Shiki down a certain path?

Edens Zero Chapter 202 – Holy VS Deadend Crow: Tears And Trauma

I was prepared to have the pain of Holy’s past explored to the extent of losing a loved one but to have such a traumatic ordeal envelop her life, I was not ready for that. The rage Holy feels has been intensely intertwined within the scars of her trauma that unpacking it now involves more than just retribution against Deadend Crow. The nightmare that Deadend Crow exists as within Holy’s mind may be the immediate terror haunting her but will his erasure remedy the depths of her anguish or only reveal to Holy how consumed she has become by his shadow? The pain of her past has hollowed her out and left only rage from her scars to fill it up. This is where the Edens Zero comes in. They will assist Holy in the battle against Deadend Crow and be the light that illuminates the darkness Holy will find herself in after the battle. However Holy decides to move forward after the battle against Deadend Crow, she will have an answer to the emptiness awaiting her once the subject of her darkness is removed. An answer for how to build oneself back up.

Edens Zero Chapter 201 – Holy VS Deadend Crow: Retribution

Deadend Crow remains largely a mystery within the story so far aside from the connection he has with the incident involving a large scale massacre and the fact that he is a machine that despises humans. The aspects of his character that define his story has yet to be touched on. Deadend Crow is presented from the point of view of a villain which naturally evokes contentious feelings. Who developed Deadend Crow and what was his intended application when constructed? Deadend Crow may be present within the arc but likely due to his lacking relevance within the overarching narrative, his proximity within this arc isn’t felt significantly. Why should the audience come to care about his journey? The central driving force behind the intrigue is the vengeance Holy wishes to deliver onto Deadend Crow. What seems necessary at this point is focus on Deadend Crow to flesh him out beyond a template antagonist.

Edens Zero Chapter 193 – Weisz VS Killer: Sacrifice

The manner in how Killer entrapped Weisz mentally, emotionally and physically deserves acknowledgement. He understood Weisz intimately and exploited that knowledge expertly to carve out a moment of doubt which in turn opened Weisz up to the defeat he ultimately suffered. Battles aren’t just reduced to a derivation of numbers. It often embodies a subtle process of understanding your opponent and employing more than the weight of your fist. Killer in this situation, emotionally staggered Weisz and took advantage of his vulnerable mind to corner Weisz into his trap. The love Weisz felt toward his mother became the choice that led to his defeat in this situation.

Edens Zero Chapter 186 – The Four Dark Stars

After a directed introduction and a sacrificial encounter with one of the Oración Seis Interstellar members, the Four Dark Stars are now set-up to face off against the main force of the Edens Zero. The way the Four Dark Stars were introduced, they were doubtlessly arranged to be foils for the Four Shining Stars in regards to their representation as programs over beings. The presence of a metaphysical heart created a divide between the versions and established a conflict requiring an answer. Were the Four Dark Stars superior because of their designs and advanced hardware? Or was the freedom present in the Four Shining Stars programming an element that defined a new path of evolution? Such a variation has become a story that is still ongoing. Even though the original Four Shining Stars are not present in the fight, I wholeheartedly hope that events would navigate themselves into seeing the Four Shining Stars match up against the Four Dark Stars.

Edens Zero Chapter 183 – Elsie Crimson: Home

Lendard was not only a former kingdom in the Kaede Cosmos but it was in fact the homeworld of Elsie Crimson, whose real name is Elsie Le Lendard. This planet was the one where Elsie’s life changed forever after attempting to end the obsession the kingdom had for arms development. In pursuit of such an end, she unknowingly initiated a war that would engulf the whole Cosmos and end the rule of the Le Lendard family. Her choices driven by innocent hopes of peace resulted in the destruction of the society existing within the Kaede Cosmos. Additionally, it was during her escape from Lendard where she lost/injured her right eye. Now having returned home, Elsie seeks to put a stop to Lendard’s weapon manufacturing once again. This time by defeating Ziggy.

Edens Zero Chapter 179 – Deadend Crow: The Titan Of Eternal Darkness

The alliance existing between Holy and Shiki is based on such an apparent level of doubt, that if it weren’t for a common enemy, there would be no reason for the parties to concern themselves with this fragile union. The Edens Zero distrust Holy and she knows they mistrust her and the Edens Zero knows that she knows. The foundation is based on such a self-consuming narrative that compromise and patience has become the thread binding the two contrasting forces together all for the end goal of assaulting Lendard and putting an end to the operations Ziggy and Deadend Crow currently have going on. Once Elsie enters the fray and joins the battle alongside this alliance, it is inevitable further complications will arise. Fortunately, now that one of the enemies has been revealed to be a titanic-sized entity, the necessity for a alliance has become only more underlined. “Deadend Crow” will need to be defeated and it will take the combined efforts of this alliance to shut it down.

Edens Zero Chapter 178 – Rebecca And Labilia: Friends

That was entirely more wholesome than I was anticipating. A relationship built not on hate but rather love that became warped into expressions of toxic projection. Labilia always respected Rebecca, she just could not find a way to accurately convey such feelings toward Rebecca. The apprehension, expectation, confusion and desire to thank Rebecca converged into a what would become the only way in which Labilia knew how to release herself and that was making content for her B-cuber channel. Labilia never genuinely wanted to hurt Rebecca, she just didn’t know how to go about opening herself up to Rebecca until she finally made peace with the reality of her death.

Edens Zero Chapter 177 – Holy: Thorns Of Darkness

As expected from a rose, complimenting such beauty and vibrance are the existence of thorns. Sharp and deadly thorns that impale any subject to the roses enchantment. Holy behind her divine radiance hides a darkness akin to thorns presiding alongside the rose. Wanting to be both adored and feared, Holy initiates her methodology and filters her proposal through Shiki and the Edens Zero crew. Words of alignment and explanatory reasoning coat the proposition yet behind the visage may exist a thread of deception ready to make Shiki and his crew bleed. Will Holy become an enemy or settle as an independent player within the storm looking to ravage the Edens Zero crew?

[Theory] Edens Zero – Holy: Blooming Life

The positions in which Holy and the Edens Zero exist conveys a relationship dyed in antagonism. Holy is an agent of the Oración Seis Interstellar which by extension of their affiliation operates in opposition to the Edens Zero whom is commanded by the most recent addition to the Oración Seis Galáctica, Shiki. The disapproval in the weight behind Freedom over Order is what creates the division between the Oración Seis Interstellar and the Oración Seis Galáctica. Yet for all of the division, could there exist a member of the Oración Seis Interstellar that perceives a path beyond the surface level conflict? And could this member be Holy who may potentially be older than anyone else realises?
