So Hendricksen had something like that still up his sleeve, what a crafty fellow he is. To awaken the demon blood within the New Generation Holy Knights and force that blood to transform the bodies of the host into creatures one would expect to reside within nightmares. Hendricksen even utilised the obsession Vivian had for Gilthunder to his advantage in order to immobilize Melodias and acquire Elizabeth. It should be interesting to see what happens with Hendricksen at the conclusion of this arc and whether all the work he has put into reviving the Demon Clan amounts to anything at the end because there is that unnerving feeling hanging in the air that the Demon Clan is about to become a serious threat within the story soon.

I wonder what Hendricksen plans to do now

Of course, he couldn’t have died so easily, Hendricksen definitely had something else up his sleeve that no one else knew about, except for him. But to think that he had demon powers like Melodias, what a surprise, unless he only recently acquired it while his body laid dying. Whatever the case, Hendricksen is back and he is about to usher in some massive changes into the story, possible changes involving Hell and Demons.

Hmmm, what is going on inside Dreyfus’s mind?

What exactly did Gowther see inside Dreyfus? What was that shadow? Does this mean that Dreyfus has been manipulated by a darker power all this time? Ah, so many questions with so little answers being given this chapter, yet the intensity turned up at the end with Helbram grossly wounding Diane and King arriving to stop him from dealing the finishing blow. Hopefully Diane will survive, but I wonder if this will cause King to go over the edge and get serious with Helbram unlike their previous encounter, especially considering that Helbram is a cunning opponent with a dangerous ability.

So the emotionless Deadly Sin has finally revealed the terror that his abilities embody…to invade a person’s mind and literally destroy a person mentally, what a fearsome and shocking ability. The power of illusion, yet what Gowther utilises are the strongest illusions of all, the truth a person tries desperately to hide away from and reject. That piercing darkness within each person’s heart has the potential to eat them mentally when confronted by Gowther and his ability. Dreyfus felt that first-hand and is currently in a state of despair and trauma.
