Well that is awesome!
What a fantastic chapter, both refreshing and hilarious. I know Luffy was the focus of the chapter as he defeated Cracker but the focus Nami got to both agonise and expose Cracker’s weakness was brilliant. Cracker definitely did underestimate the Straw Hats but there was no way he could have expected the situation to turn out as it had, to be defeated in such a way, how ridiculously awesome.
Seriously Judge? Talk about taking your name too hardcore
Just when I thought Vinsmoke Judge couldn’t be more of a fiend, he goes ahead and proves me wrong. I look forward to the day that smirk of his disappears in the moment he finds everything he fought, killed and destroyed for crumbles in front of him. The marriage between Sanji and Pudding is not going to happen and it is going to be so sweet seeing Judge come to terms with that realisation. For Judge to be so consumed by power, strength and status, he may be effective in wars, but he was a terrible father. The Vinsmoke name to Judge is a name to be feared, to strike terror in the hearts of any unfortunate to hear it uttered and a name he desires one day to be synonymous with the leaders of North Blue.

Of course Cracker was the user of the Biscuit Fruit…I can’t believe I didn’t notice this sooner, Oda left hints on Cracker’s very design and his name. I was so caught up on his “thousand arms” motif, I failed see that which was already in front of our eyes. I can understand why Luffy was caught off guard once he broke through Crackers body armor. Cracker can use biscuits to create armor, weapons and even extra limbs on his armor.
Luffy VS Cracker
Oh, how satisfying it is seeing Luffy refusing to retreat and instead resolving to take the Commander of a Yonko crew head on. This is the New World and running away now will not serve any function besides proving that the Straw Hat Pirates are not ready, completely nullifying the past two years they have spent training and preparing themselves for these moments. Luffy NEEDS to face Cracker and Luffy WILL defeat Cracker. The Kong is out and the crumbs of biscuits are about to signal the arrival of a new force within the New World, one destined to pave forward the New Age.
He can grow additional legs as well? Or are those arms that serve as legs?
I had expected Luffy and Co to face some powerful opponents within Big Mom’s crew now that they are within her territory but to do so this early in the arc and one with a ridiculously high bounty relative to the bounties we have been exposed to so far? An 860,000,000 beli opponent! Oda-sensei means business for Luffy to be matched against such a high bounty opponent. It will be interesting to see if Luffy actually goes all out against Cracker or whether this battle will be deferred for a later time.
