Spring Anime Season 2013 Line-Up
The Spring season is upon us and with it comes a whole new line-up of anime and I must say, I’m very excited about some of the series airing this season, more so then I was in the previous season.
Shingeki No Kyojin Anime Trailer
I know this is an old trailer (over 3 months old), but I just seen it and my goodness…I just wet myself, THAT.WAS.SERIOUSLY.EPIC. Thank you Wit Studio and Production I.G for adapting such an epic manga in such an epic way.
GitS: Arise Trailer And Character PV
A new Ghost in the Shell project, oh hell yes please! The project will consist of four 50-minute parts, with the first part, “Ghost Pain,” beginning its run in Japanese theaters for two weeks on Saturday, June 22. Arise was confirmed by the series composer and script writer, Tow Ubukata to be the prequel series to Stand Alone Complex.
Flowing from “past”, “present” and “future”, time exists in a seemingly multi-dimensional state, yet at its base it centers around the state known as the “now”, a state existing beyond the perceptions of itself.
Steins;Gate is a story about the flow of time and its ability to expand beyond form into a state of endless paths all leading up to one unknown and unforeseen point. The cause and effect of changes in time ripples throughout the universe creating a separate reality for the “now” to exist and expand beyond. Steins;Gate looks at the possibilities of manipulating time, the effects which results from such actions and the dangers which can potentially come about from such effects. And beyond this, Steins;Gate focuses on the people subject to its effects and how they react and affect time in turn; from their states of curiosity and wonder to states driven by the realisation of what time actually isn’t.
Fall Anime Season 2012
I’m quite excited about the Fall season as there are quite a lot of anime which I am looking forward to and wanting to watch and hell yes, Gintama is back!
A survival action thriller story similar to Gantz (minus the horror) where participants are placed in a “game” where they are required to accomplish a certain objective before they are allowed to leave. The restriction here unlike Gantz where the players were bound by the Gantz sphere, is the fact that the island is the battleground for the game. That setting makes Btooom! seem even more similar to the story of Battle Royale, where students were sent to an island and placed in a game of “last man standing” requiring the students to kill each other until only one student is left surviving. The “game” of Btooom which the competitors are playing see them utilise bombs which are provided for them to defeat other contestants and collect the “IC chips” left behind. The exact purpose of the game remains a mystery but the objective of the game is to collect a total of eight IC chips.
Road To Ninja: Naruto The Movie Special Chapter
What an amusing and heart-warming special chapter, I love it. Now I’m looking forward to this movie even more! Great to see the main cast of characters back together again even if for some random fun, but hahah, what random fun it was, and you could say it was even more “revealing” then your normal Naruto chapter =).
Summer Anime Season 2012
It’s a bit late for this since the season has already started but I like doing these write-ups, and since not all the shows have begun airing, it’s still not too late =). I may not watch all the series I’m interested in this season, but I do intend to watch them eventually =).
