Summer Time Rendering – Episode 3-4

If I were to use a phrase to describe the journey of Summer Time Rendering from the perspective of the main character it would be “forget what you see, remember what you forgot”. On first reading it appears the two parts of that statement threads over the same meaning but within that circular logic there is very much a varying impression of subtlety and depth. Reflecting it against the context of Summer Time Rendering, it speaks towards the growing need for Shinpei to distrust the reality before him (which he sees) and attach more emphasis on the memories he possesses of his “past” and the interactions with a certain dear individual (what he remembers through each “progression”). When the danger of doubt exist within the shadows of trust, it becomes necessary to embrace the unconventional suspicion of apprehension.

Summer Time Rendering – Episode 1-2

Events on small Island that involves a tragedy leads the main character, Shinpei, back to his hometown which he hasn’t visited for two years. Upon his return, inexplicable events occur starting from the boat ride before even reaching the Island. A vision of sorts transcending the physical initiates the obscurity hiding behind the peculiarities ongoing within the Island. It commences the viewer off from an inquisitive entry and as the mystery deepens, it becomes clear the story isn’t exactly what it appears. A grander terror encapsulates the enigma sourced from the tragedy that led Shinpei back to the Island. Were circumstances planned to draw Shinpei back to the Island or was his arrival that now seeks to disentangle the darkness a fortuitous fate?

The despair of Salvation

With each trauma, our perception of the world deforms. From the world we are shown, to the world we see, to the world we want, to the world we experience. Each trauma that scars us in life teaches us about regret, fear, suffering, pain and countless other deep dark emotions. Along with creating a pit of negativity which we often find ourselves sinking in, it also serves as a contrast against the positive moments in life teaching us to appreciate and value such moments.

King of Thorn is about a story of a group of infected individuals chosen via a lottery to undergo cryosleep to wait for the world to develop a cure for the virus killing them. Things go wrong and the individuals find themselves at the mercy of death’s whims. The manner in how King of Thorn introduces the theme of trauma and twist it through the mystery of what went wrong creates a fascinating stage for the story and the characters relevant to it to unravel and reveal themselves in.

Shokugeki No Soma TV Anime Confirmed For 2015

Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars) anime adaption confirmed for 2015

It has been announced that Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars) will get a television anime adaptation in 2015. J.C. Staff will be producing the anime with Yoshitomo Yonetani as the director .

Shokugeki no Soma is a story of a boy pursuing the path of cooking and challenging himself so that one day he can surpass his father and continue on the family business – a special-of-the-day shop. Within that setting is a story where the curtain rises on the new possibilities of cooking and the pleasures, flavours and textures brought along with it.

Finally we get an official announcement for when the Fairy Tail anime is returning – April 2014. I for one cannot wait, I love the Fairy Tail anime and how it compliments the manga so enjoyably. The Fairy Tail anime achieves not only adapting the manga, but furthering and expanding on the enjoyment and love a Fairy Tail fan has for the series. Along with covering the story it takes the character interactions and gags so much further consequently making you love the characters and story more than you had before after reading the manga =D.
