With their manliness challenged, the two engage in a battle tanking each others hits in order to be the last one standing and prove to the other that they are the manlier man. From a spectator’s perspective, the mere notion of such a battle may appear meaningless and foolish, but despite the duty they hold to others and the promises they made, the importance of being a man to them takes precedence over any other consideration. Franky and Senor Pink may be on opposite sides of the line by they certainly understand each other and resonate together.

I have no idea what Ichibei is even hinting at or what sort of intention he has sending Ichigo to meet Juhabach. I was hoping in this chapter we would get to learn what Ichibei meant when he said humans could not defeat Juhabach with their abilities, but unfortunately we will have to wait a bit longer to find out the truth about what Juhabach is after and the intentions of the Shinigami. Kisuke appears to have almost completed his preparations, so hopefully in the next chapter we see him finally send everyone to the Soul King Palace.

So Mansherry’s ability is finally revealed and what an interesting ability it appears to be. Mansherry had consumed the Chiyu Chiyu no Mi (Heal Heal Fruit) and is able to rejuvenate a person and restore their wounds as if it were never inflicted. Jora, who surprisingly makes a sudden reappearance had gone to force the dwarf princess to use her ability to revive the fallen Donquixote members (Machvise, Sugar, Dellinger, Lao G) so they can re-enter the fight and finish off the weakened opposition who defeated them. Leo, though, had other plans and managed to stop Jola and save his princess.

Bleach Chapter 612 – No Hope

What exactly does Kisuke intend on doing by breaking into the Soul King’s Palace? Even with the current captains and vice-captains of the Gotei 13, I seriously doubt they would amount to much against Yuhabach and his “Elite Force”. As for Ichibei, what the hell did he mean? And what the hell is with his trolling – asking Ichigo to save them and then stating that “humans” have no chance of winning against Yuhabach. Whatever Ichibei meant, I guess it’s a good thing Ichigo is only part human =/.

One Piece Chapter 773 – Half And Half

Bartolomeo unleashes!

Personally, one of the most enjoyable chapters this arc; it highlighted Cavendish, Bartolomeo and Robin in such a sensational light and expressed just how important this battle in Dressrosa is for each of them. The way Gladius was defeated was nothing short of epic, and the half and half of Cavendish/Hakuba was unusually fascinating, yet the true moment of the chapter for me was Robin unleashing some of the potential she has as a fighter. With Robin arriving in the “monsters battleground” I look forward to seeing her in action, especially since it seems likely that she will be highlighted in a battle.

One Piece Chapter 772 – Bartolomeo And Cavendish

What a team these two make…

What an exciting chapter; Kyros is able to fight with Diamante and is ready to atone for his sins of not being able to protect his wife and daughter, Zoro has noticed the capabilities of the Happo Navy and is still in casual mode with Pica, Bartolomeo is amped up to defeat the guy who attacked Robin and Cavendish has just let Hakuba out to unleash. The highlight of the chapter certainly was the ridiculous interactions Bartolomeo and Cavendish have with one another, what a hilarious team those two make. I look forward to seeing the two of them conclude their battles with the Donquixote Pirates they are up against.

Bleach Chapter 611 – The Death Of The Soul King

Finally it is time, the main characters are back in focus!

Well that was interesting, Ichibei gets brought back from the dead by merely having his name spoken and the Soul King, whom should have already been awakened, has seemingly been killed by Yhwach. What a twist to learn that Yhwach is in fact the Soul King’s son, I guess now it makes a bit more sense why Yhwach has such a broken power. Still I wonder why exactly Yhwach was so determined to kill the Soul King, I’m sure he is aware that the worlds will collapse without some consistent force connecting them, unless of course Yhwach has a plan to deal with the imbalance that should be create upon the Soul King’s death.
