One Piece Chapter 756 – Locating Princess Mansherry

One Piece chapter 756 - colour spread

So that’s what each of the Straw Hats do when they get ready (lol Zoro)

I honestly do love Viola’s Giro Giro no Mi abilities, the application it can have is exciting, especially when you realise that with Viola allied with the Straw Hats, the situations created can be many times more dire and serious than previous situations covered in the past. Regardless of its overwhelming nature, the context in which it is being highlighted this arc reveals it to be a very necessary ability when dealing with powerful enemies rooted within the New World. Despite Viola being separate from the Straw Hat Pirate crew, I certainly would love to see her enter into an alliance of sorts just so she has the opportunity to feature in more arcs and showcase more of her fascinating ability.

With Princess Mansherry located, I am curious to see if Leo and the other dwarves can free her without attracting the attention of Doflamingo. And beyond the rescue, why is Princess Mansherry such an important individual to Doflamingo and King Riku, what “power” does she have which would warrant such a serious focus at this point in the arc. For Doflamingo to keep so hush-hush about her imprisonment in the Royal Palace, he must require her for something terribly important. I look forward to finding out Mansherry’s role in Doflamingo’s plan.

The flashback of the Timeout room was touching, I did enjoy seeing the dwarves reminiscence of a time before Doflamingo and the happiness which embraced the Dressrosa Kingdom. Given that the timeout room is some sort of cell, it seems there should be a key to open the door, which presumably Doflamingo has as he was seen playing with a key before he engaged in conversation with Bellamy.

One Piece chapter 756 - Robin and Bartolomeo VS Galdius and Headcrackers

This should be a great battle

I was hoping for a Robin-featured battle and it seems Gladius is the one whom she has been matched up against, well Bartolomeo and her against Gladius and the Headcracker Dolls. With Bartolomeo’s Bari Bari no Mi and Robin’s strategic mind and versatile use of her Hana Hana no Mi, this battle should be a good one. Hopefully Robin gets some serious coverage in this battle and not just left to deal with the Headcrackers while Bartolomeo takes on Gladius.

Rebecca VS Diamante was expected, but it came about much sooner than I expected. It should be interesting to see what Rebecca does now and whether she makes the decision to put herself forward in crushing her mother’s killer, Diamante. Kyros will probably sure up in a while to lend Rebecca a hand, so hopefully Rebecca gets some time to shine and showcase her talent as a Gladiator. Personally I wouldn’t mind if Kyros just sat this one out and instead opted to observe his daughter surpass her father by overcoming Diamante and regaining the title of “Hero of the Corrida Colosseum”.

One Piece chapter 756 - Rebecca VS Diamante

I am eager to see how Rebecca chooses to fight Diamante

Sugar revived huh? That was definitely a surprise, but I wonder what God Usopp will decide to do now, especially if those he previously saved end up pressuring him into defeating Sugar again. Sugar is already sensitive and fearful of Usopp, so Usopp should be able to work something out to knock her unconscious again =P. If not, than all he needs to do is create another “miracle”. On another note, Usopp’s reaction to Kin’emon and Kanjuro was amusing.

With the plot slowly progressing towards the Luffy VS Doflamingo climax, it is going to be exciting to see what happens to each of the Donquixote Crew members and how they end up being defeated, and by whom. Looking forward to the next chapter.
