Out of the pot and into the fire, what an extreme development. Madara himself was powerful enough, but now we have Kaguya who has taken over Madara’s body and chakra and transformed it into her original form. Whatever jutsu she used goes beyond even what the Edo Tensei is capable of, to carry out a complete resurrection like that, how outrageous. And what’s even more shocking is the fact that she is able to contain chakra within her body that exceeds the amount which even the Juubi holds. Just how powerful is Kaguya and why does she need an army of White Zetsu? What does she plan to battle against?
Kaguya has exceeded the levels of both Naruto and Sasuke, she has become such an overwhelming force now, I doubt Naruto and Sasuke can do anything without any outside help. Although I suppose, the chakra/jutsu of Ashura and Indra flowing inside Naruto and Sasuke protects them in a way from Kaguya – is she unable to directly kill or touch them? Whatever it is, the sun and moon marks on Naruto and Sasuke embodying their connection to Ashura and Indra reacted when Kaguya tried to absorb their chakra. Why exactly is she afraid of that chakra.jutsu? Or is the Shinju chakra inside her afraid of that?
I am curious about Kaguya’s plans, why does she desire to turn every human caught inside the Infinite Tsukiyomi into White Zetsu’s? For what purpose does she need soldiers? If everyone in the world is caught inside the Infinite Tsukiyomi and under the effects of the genjutsu, what need is there for soldiers? Certainly there must be something that demands the initiation of war, but what is it =/? What is the “enemy” Kaguya seeks to battle against? I honestly am confused. I suppose the “enemy” Kaguya is worried about could be an unnamed one, one more powerful than even her individual self. Her statement of her not wanting to cause any more damage to the world does seem genuine but what does she know that we don’t?
I am tempted to think of otherworldly forces moving against the world Naruto is set in, but such a thought is so farfetched it seems impossible. Can Naruto really introduce another antagonistic group to battle against? The origins of Kaguya also intrigue me, what clan did she originate from and are they still active? Is Kaguya really the villain of the story? There are so many questions surrounding Kaguya and her actions, the fact that she desires soldiers confuses me immensely, what exactly does she know?
Nice to learn that Hagoromo’s brother is called Hamura, I wonder if we will get to learn more about him and whether he plays an important role within the Naruto story. Hamura also seems to have children who were the ancestors of the Hyuuga and Kaguya clans. The Hyuuga are obviously related to Kaguya through the Byakugan they inherited, and based on the appearance which Kimimaro had (his hair and eyebrows), the Kaguya clan do seem to share similarities with Kaguya beyond just the name.
There is something important regarding the past that we have not been told yet, as Kaguya is not too pleased finding out that Ashura and Indra’s spirits reside within Naruto and Sasuke. Hopefully soon we will get to learn about it. Looking forward to the following chapters.
