Alice’s dish was spectacular and the fact that she incorporated a sequence in how her dish was to be eaten to deepen the level of flavour and satisfaction of the meal was incredibly well thought out. Not only did Alice bring forward a fantastical and elegant presentation, she utilised her flavours in such a unique and wondrous way, you can’t help but admire the level of thinking that went into creating the dish. Such a complex and technical dish that sings on so many levels had me wondering intensely throughout the chapter how exactly Souma would go about combating such an overwhelming dish…then I seen his back and my worries disappeared.

How cute it was to see Asuka determined to get the memento her parents sold in the past to pay for her medical prescription fees back. Those past seven years when the main group of Fairy Tail were frozen in time sure must have been hard for the rest of the mages left in the guild, they had to endure through some tough circumstances and make some really difficult decisions. It’s great having some focus on those characters who don’t normally get to shine within the general Fairy Tail story, it helps flesh them out quite some bit.

What a cute and unique way Erza has of handling situations. Even though she may appear cold and brutal when being strict, it comes off in such a loving and embracing way that you can’t help but admire the way she tackles problems. Even in situations where Erza handles it in such absurd and unorthodox ways, the sincere and natural smile she wears makes you accept her strangeness as being one of her charming points. Erza truly is a unique and radiantly memorable character.
