Hahah, so we didn’t get to see who that mysterious character was at the end of the previous chapter this chapter…lol, the agony of wanting to know continues to grow =P, hopefully it is revealed next chapter O.o. Interesting chapter this one, so Luffy and Co. prolong their presence on Punk Hazard with a party, hahah, how typical Strawhat-style. Well now this give Doflamingo and that mysterious character time to make it to Punk Hazard (if they haven’t already) before Luffy and Co. leave.

Through that state of being, we further extend the reach of confinement to immure our state of mind and further imprison us within this illusionary notion of “imprisonment” to the point of making us blind to the fact that there was never a “cage” there in the first place. To be free within the confines of a “cage” expresses itself to be the boldest form of freedom…Neji’s “cage” and ‘state of imprisonment’ disappeared the moment he realised he was never outside the realms of freedom.

Bleach Chapter 524 – Unohana vs Zaraki

Who will be the one embraced during this dance with death?

What an epic chapter, I am absolutely loving this battle. To finally see Unohana in battle and get more of her character fleshed out, it’s fantastic, and to top is all off, Zaraki is her opponent. Two battle-hungry beast going at it with murderous intent and unleashed intensity, mmmmm I’m very interested to see what happens next and what the outcome of this battle will be as well as its effects.

As expected, Erza did refuse to give her life up to satisfy Kagura’s revenge; there was just too much worth attached to her life for her to even consider giving it up like that, she had to live for both Rob and Simon who gave their lives protecting her (Natsu, Jellal and the rest of her nakama are also reasons for her to live as well). The flashback about Rosemary village was surprising though, was not expecting that twist, but it’s a lovely twist by Mashima-sensei, it established a connection between Erza and Kagura which easily deflated the anger Kagura directed towards Erza.

One Piece Chapter 695 – They’re Enemies

What an awesome chapter, it was unbelievably amazing and well worth the wait. Seeing several of the Strawhats in action and witnessing just how much they have improved over the past two years was such a pleasure.

Well that is how things should appear to a shinobi, but Naruto, he pretty much kicks that to the curb and rewrites the thinking into one where even if this “curse” were to tighten itself around his life, now that he realises that his comrades are fighting and willing to die for a purpose, for a future, he will look past this concept of “death” and continue on towards that future many hope for ever-remembering the dreams and actions of the people who fell in pursuit of it.

Oh wow, I got treated to something real good in this chapter, Unohana Retsu otherwise known as Unohana Yachiru, the first Kenpachi and the one who invented the art of killing. Oh goodness, I have been waiting to for the moment where Unohana is focused on, because she was such a curious character who seemed super strong and now, wow, we find out that she was a founding member of the Gotei 13 and was also regarded as the strongest.

Onepunch Man (Manga)

Here is a story of a man who obtained an overwhelming power, and an overwhelming punch…

I’ve been trying for a while to think about how I should begin this post, but honestly I am not exactly sure how I should introduce it, I don’t exactly know what I should say to describe just what the manga is about beyond just saying ‘this manga is about a man who one punches the bad guys away…’. Now the manga is much deeper than that description but that description summaries perfectly what this manga is about…a man with the ability to defeat someone with one punch. Absurd I know, but beyond how the manga initially sounds, the actuality of your reaction when you begin reading it is that it is absurdly good.

So Kagura is Simon’s sister…what a surprise, I completely skipped over that possibility when thinking about the possible reasons Kagura could have to bear her sword against Jellal. What an interesting twist, a twist that enkindled painful memories to resurface in Erza, a twist that turned Erza to the weakness she bears and the grief she has been facing ever since her weakness caused Simon’s death.
