I’m quite excited about the Fall season as there are quite a lot of anime which I am looking forward to and wanting to watch and hell yes, Gintama is back!

Anime I’m planning to watch:

>>Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun: the description of it did pique my interest but it didn’t really scream “watch me” to me, well that was before I watched the trailer and heard dat engrish…I am sold and the show looks like something that will be quite entertaining and amusing to watch =P. Trailer

>>Jormungand PERFECT ORDER: oh yes please, I fell in love with Jormungand when I watched the trailer for the first season and now I’m even more in love with it after watching the trailer for the second season:

>>Gintama: I missed you Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura =).

>>BTOOOM!: Been enjoying the manga and the survival action thriller story it seeks to create is quite entertaining. Already wrote an entry on how I feel about the manga, you can read it here – BTOOOM! (Manga). Love that Madhouse is producing the anime, they really did refine the art style and I can’t wait to see how they handle the anime. I’m also curious to see what Madhouse will do with the story when it catches up to the manga.

>>Zetsuen no Tempest: The story description was interesting but what really pulled me in was the trailer, all I think after watching it was “oh my goodness, I’m so watching this”. I’m intrigued immensely by what is going on there and the music, wow, I’m really looking forward to this – it’s produced by Studio BONES, so hell yeah!

>>K: I’ll try to contain myself, but I don’t think I can, this is THE show I’ve been waiting for this season. Ever since I seen the first trailer for it back in April, I’ve been so so looking forward to it. I got no idea what the story is about but the trailer just captivated me, I loved everything about it – that animation quality, my goodness. K is one of those anime where I fall in love with completely before even watching it; like Record of Lodoss War, Redline, Mardock Scramble (produced by GoHands, who are also producing this), and Jormungand. Anyway here’s the trailer, it looks epic:

>>JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure The Animation: I actually have been meaning to read the manga for this but never got around to doing so, but now with an anime coming out, I will get around to watching this =D. Oh man, the trailer gets me so hyped:

>>Bakuman. 3: The manga is finished which I need to get around to finishing as well, but I am planning to watch this season of Bakuman at some point.

>>Sukitte Ii na yo: I’m gonna give this anime a shot, I looks cute and I just feel like watching something like this O.o. Trailer

>>CODE:BREAKER: I’m not up to date with the manga, put it on hold at chapter 121, so I’m a fair bit behind, but I’ve read enough to know that I really enjoy the story and characters and am looking forward to the anime. Rei did remind me of Yagami Light from Death Note when I first started reading the manga, but he breaks of from that and becomes his own character. The relationship between Rei and Sakura is quite the intriguing and fascinating one and I really do enjoy seeing how the two of them cause each other to develop. Anyway “An Eye for an Eye, a Tooth for a Tooth, and Evil for Evil.”:

>>Magi: Another of those series which I’m really looking forward to. I loved reading the manga as it was quality reading; the characters, the story, the themes, the developments, the setting, all those elements in Magi come together so extremely well. I wrote an entry about my impressions of the manga back in April when I read it, which you can read here – Magi – The Labyrinth Of Magic. All that I have left to say is, if you loved Fullmetal Alchemist, you will love Magi:

>>Medaka Box Abnormal: Kurokami Medaka, one of my shounen heroines, I look forward to being captivated by you even more. I also wonder, will we get to see Kumagawa Misogi this season O.o. Trailer

>>PSYCHO-PASS: Produced by Production I.G and a noitaminA anime, how the hell can I say no? I’d be crazy to not want to watch this. A sci-fi anime with a very intriguing story and setting – being able to measure and quantify a person’s state of mind and personality eh? Sounds intense. Characters are being designed by Reborn’s author, Amano Akira, who boasts such a stylized style and one which fits so perfectly in this setting and story. Can’t wait for it:

>>ROBOTICS;NOTES: The second of the noitaminA anime shows, so I’m definitely in for this one as well. It’s based on a game by 5pb. whom also developed the games Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate (still need to watch the anime for this), both of which got produced into anime formats. Production I.G is producing this anime as well (oh hell yes), so I’m pretty much convinced already that I NEED to watch this. The trailer paints the anime as an interesting watch, so I’m looking forward to it:

>>Initial D Fifth Stage: I’ve watched the first three stages before and I loved it, Takumi and his driving skills are quite the spectacle and the anime in general is just real entertaining. Will probably watch the fourth stage before watching this =P.

>>Aoi Sekai no Chuushin de: After reading that the characters in the show are parodies of Nintendo and Sega character, I became interested in this show. A shame I can’t find a trailer for it =(, would have loved to seen how the anime looked. Well, will give a few episodes a try to see if I enjoy it.

Movies: Lots of interesting movies this season, am looking forward to Tiger and Bunny, Asura, Mardock Scramble: The Third Exhuast, Shinpi no Hou, Fuse Teppou Musume no Torimonochou, 009 Re:Cyborg, Gothicmade, Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, and Evangelion 3.0 when they get subbed.

I haven’t played any of the Mass Effect games so I got no idea what the story is like, here is the trailer for the Paragon Lost movie:

Thanks for reading,

-Syphin-
