Interesting, so Law actually did something like that, how surprising, to give his own heart up as consideration for the contract he formed with Caesar Clown. And Caesar Clown didn’t even offer up his own heart as consideration but that of his secretary, Monet’s heart. Makes you wonder just what this “important key” is that Law is after if he is seeking it so badly he literally laid down his life for it. Caesar Clown is not the most charming person and he certainly isn’t someone you would want to trust that easily, so for Law to agree to such an absurd offer, the “important key” he is after must be something quite remarkable.
What an intense chapter, all the pages dedicated to Naruto, Kakashi, Guy and Hachibi attempting to catch Tobi off guard and expose an opening to counter him. Ultimately they weren’t able to hit Tobi let alone even touch him with all their attack plans but they were able to avoid Tobi absorbing Naruto so that’s counts for something. Still in this situation where they don’t understand Tobi’s ability, just how will they proceed? And what is up with Tobi anyway, I’m hungry for his back-story or some explanation behind this man shrouded in mystery who considers him self “no one”.
Well now, I had a feeling that Byakuya wasn’t finished at the end of the previous chapter, but did he just die in this chapter? I was expecting him to utilise some high level kidou first before he really lost, but wow, he just got demolished by his Senbonzakura Kageyoshi…still did he just die? If so, wow, I was not expecting Kubo-sensei to be so bold, it was sure impacting but I was expecting something more emotionally gripping for a character’s death. But if Byakuya really did die, then well, no character besides Ichigo is really safe…now I’m really looking forward to what else Kubo-sensei has in store for the readers for this “final arc”.
