Naruto Chapter 547-549 – The Value Of Love

Wow, Kishimoto handled the meeting between Gaara and his father quite amazingly, it really was quite moving. And at the end of it all, I couldn’t help but feel happiness and joy for Gaara and his parents (in particular Gaara’s father). Naruto meeting Itachi and Nagato and being forced into a battle against the two of them while talking with Itachi was great. Itachi is one of the best characters in Naruto and seeing what he’ll do now that he has been resurrected is interesting.

Bleach Chapter 456-458 – Memories Of You

Don’t worry, I’ll be your friend

Oh wow, twist and turns and even trolling, Bleach finally getting into the groove of things these chapters. This arc may be about Ichigo getting his Shinigami powers back, but the developments that are overshadowing this is the Kuugo and Tsukishima relationship. Ichigo’s training seems to be so far just caught up in the middle of whatever is happening between Kuugo and Tsukishima, though the developments with Kisuke and Isshin seem more important, but we hardly have anything substantial to go with (we have vague ideas but that’s it).

Street Fighter X Tekken Trailers

I don’t normally follow fighting games but I do really enjoy them when I play them, but anyway I happened to stumble upon a Street Fighter X Tekken trailer today and oh my goodness, it looks so incredibly fun. Maybe it’s because most of the trailers were just cinematic rather than gameplay and it had music in the background, but wow, it still makes me want to get this game when it comes out (PS3).

Hmmmm, so the Energy Steroids transformed Hody, beefing him up and seemingly exponentially increasing his power, that is interesting (now he really does look like a badass villain). Well it’s expected steroids would do that, but I wonder what the exact side-effects are and how is this transformation affecting his body in the long-run? Do the New Fishman Pirates even know?

Naruto Chapter 546 – Confrontation With The Past

This chapter was mainly focused on the events with Gaara and Oonoki, but the most memorable scene from this chapter was of course, RASENGAN!!!! I was tempted to title this post “RASENGAN” but I resisted the urge and went with a more Gaara-appropriate title, even if a bit more dull.

Bleach Chapter 455 – Lamenting Circumstances

Oh Ichigo, its amusing watching your roller coaster of reactions, from completely terrified to strangely terrifying – he is ready to kill a human!! And unlike in his Shinigami form where he is actually cleansing (aka Bleaching) the soul of Hollow (doesn’t seem like that to me when the Gotei 13 slash away at their enemies with smirks on their faces – so much for liberating the corrupted), here he has a real sword, that really cuts the flesh and bone, that does real damage, and that really does kill. Walking the road of killer requires more thought than what Ichigo is putting in, especially since he is only a teenager (17)!!

Bleach Episode 329 – Modsoul Genesis

So this is what the world inside the head of Soi-Fon looks like, interesting...

Sorry I just had to use this image as the main one, it is awesomely hilarious! Soi-Fon and her delusions hahah =P. The image reminded me a lot of Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Anyway this episode was great, we get to learn what exactly Kageroza is after and just exactly who he is. We also find out who/what Nozomi is – shock/horror moment for Kon. And to top things off we get an epic evil guy laugh at the end – got to love evil laughs.

Fairy Tail, it definitely is an amazing guild.
